Because a website, a myspace and a facebook just are not enough!

Actually I have more than one myspace but that's beyond the point. I hope to bring in more readers than I would on just those venues. I find my myspace rather interesting, but it tends to the much more personal, which is exactly what I hope to avoid with an actual blog. I hope to find something interesting enough to post at least once a day, but it doesn't mean I will. I will try and bring my eclectic tastes into a sense of focus and interest to others as well as myself. Maybe I will even be informative in some instances. I personally have no sense of humor but will try and be witty just the same.

I'm sure by now you are asking why I named this blog what I did. You see, I have a trio of psycho little pugs named Leo, Oreo, and Willo. They are the true characters in my life and you will find that a great deal of this blog will focus on the adventures we have together.

I moved to the Phoenix area about 9 years ago, from the beautiful, 7,ooo foot high Flagstaff, AZ. And boy did I hate the Valley of the Sun! When in Flagstaff, where I was born and raised, I was constantly walking, camping, hiking, etc. All things that I couldn't do in this hell-hole! Yes, you can say that there is plenty of places to do those things. I could use the excuse, it's just so ugly! But it would be just that - an excuse. The fact of the matter was I couldn't do those things in the Valley of the Sun. Anything over 75 degrees and I was absolutely miserable! Migraines, passing out, etc. So now these many years later when I have finally adjusted, I am exploring the area. So there will be many posts of things and places I discover around the Valley of the Sun, it of course will be from a haters point of view.

So I invite you to follow along as I try to entertain, myself, my pugs and my readers. Feel free to leave comments and critiques, I take constructive criticism well but cruelty will be met with my red-headed Scottish temper.

  1. I'm pretty sure that "red-headed Scottish temper" can totally count as humor.
